In Survivor.io equipment is key, it can provide you with a much-needed boost on your base stats (HP and ATK). As you level up equipment it also unlocks grade skills, these are unique boosts assigned to pieces of specific equipment such as critical damage chance and movement speed boosts.

Boots are one of the 6 pieces of equipment that you will equip your survivor with. Knowing which pair to equip can depend on a number of factors including your play style and also what level/challenge you are playing in.

What stats do boots affect?

Boots primarily affect your HP stat, they can also provide much-needed boosts to stats like movement speed and also provide the ability to heal. When boots reach the better grade they start to unlock grade skills. These grade skills can be unlocked for better, excellent, epic, and legendary levels which can be unlocked by merging your equipment.

We will now take a look at the best and worst boots currently in the game.

Boots in Survivor.io

In Survivor.io there are currently 7 pairs of boots that you can choose from, each pair of boots can come in every grade other than the Voidwaker treads and Eternal boots which are S quality:

  1. Voidwaker treads
  2. Eternal boots
  3. Light runners
  4. Prosthetic legs
  5. Highboots
  6. Layered snowshoes
  7. Army boots

Each pair of boots offers different grade skills and unique boosts. Whilst we do have a list of our best to worst boots in the game some boots are better suited for different levels. These are found by trial and error if you are stuck on a level or challenge.

We will now take a look at the best boots in Survivor.io, we will start by looking at the top-tier boots and work our way down to the ones we consider average.

Voidwaker treads

Voidwaker Treads

The Voidwaker treads are currently considered one of the best boots in the game. Being an S-grade piece of equipment they already offer higher base stats when compared to other types of boots. This means straight the way you will see an increase with the HP stat being boosted. These boots are focused on increasing your HP and speed.

The grade skills on the Voidwaker treads are what makes them superb. When you first obtain the boots your base movement speed is increased by +2, your HP will receive a 15% boost, and you receive a 10% movement speed boost for every 500 enemies killed (maxed at 50%).

When you upgrade them to epic you will unlock a further 25% HP boost, when you level them up to legendary the predator-grade skill is unlocked. This is where increased damage will be applied against monsters that move at a slower rate. The damage is proportional to how fast/slow they move.

Eternal boots

Eternal Boots

Another top-tier pair of boots are the Eternal boots. Like the Voidwaker treads the Ethernal boots are an S-grade pair of boots. This means the base stats are higher when compared to standard excellent equipment. You will notice a good HP boost when swapping your standard excellent boots for these.

The first grade skills that are unlocked when you obtain the Eternal boots are a base movement speed of +2, your HP will receive a 15% boost, and the boots leave a fire trail behind when moving. Whilst the trail of fire is a nice skill to have the other two are what make the boots shine.

When the boots reach epic grade you will unlock a further 25% HP boost. When the boots reach the legendary grade the fire trail is improved by increasing the amount of damage that it deals and by slowing enemies that come into its path. This is ideal for scenarios when you are being chased by monsters and bosses.

Light runners

Light Runners

The next boots on our list our the Light runners. Light runners can come in every grade and can be leveled up to legendary grade. Like all boots, your HP will be boosted in line with how leveled the boots are and also what grade they are.

These boots become very good when they reach the epic grade as they unlock a damage boost of +20% for 3s after killing an enemy. The first two grade skills that you will unlock are an HP boost of 10% and a damage reduction of -20% for 3s after receiving damage.

The final grade skill is another HP boost of +15% when they reach the legendary grade. Overall these are a solid pair of boots.

Prosthetic legs

Prosthetic Legs

At number 4 is the Prosthetic leg boots. These boots can be obtained by completing levels and challenges. They come in every grade from normal up to legendary grades. The boots will provide you with an HP boost which is raised depending on the level of the boots.

The first skill that is unlocked by reaching the better grade is an HP boost of 10%. when the boots reach the excellent grade your base movement speed will receive an increase of +1.

The reason for this pair of boots being on our list is when they reach the epic grade. The grade skill unlocked at the epic grade is a 1% HP healing boost every 3s when moving. We like this grade skill as it can save you from picking the energy drink passive skill. The boots alone will provide you will a helpful HP healing boost.

When the boots reach legendary grade another HP boost of 15% is applied.

Highboots

Highboots

Highboots are next on our list based on the grade skill that is unlocked at the epic grade. Highboots can be obtained in every grade from normal to legendary. They will provide you with an HP boost which depends on how high they are leveled.

When the boots reach the better grade they will unlock an HP boost of 10%. The next skill that is unlocked at the excellent grade is forced march. Which is a 30% movement speed boost for 5s for every 200 monsters that are killed (this skill cannot be stacked).

When the boots reach epic grade they become quite powerful and useful. This is due to the immunity to bullet damage and a -20% collision damage during forced march skill being unlocked. When the boots reach legendary grade they will provide you with another 15% HP boost.

Layered snowshoes

Layered Snowshoes

The layered snowshoes are a good choice early on in the game but as monsters become faster and more powerful the radiation ring becomes less effective. These boots can come in every grade from normal to legendary.

The first grade skill that you will unlock is an HP boost of 10%, this is followed by a radiation ring that is left behind dealing damage over time to monsters. We found this skill to be more useful early on in the game – not so much end game.

A speed boost of +2 when spawning radiation rings is unlocked when the boots reach epic grade and another HP boost of 15% is unlocked when the boots are merged to the legendary grade.

Army boots

Army Boots

The final boots on our list are the Army boots. We would consider these boots the most average out of the 7 we have discussed above. They can be obtained in every grade from normal to legendary and will provide an HP stat boost.

When the boots are the blue (better) grade they will unlock an HP boost of 10%. The next grade (purple/excellent) will unlock the inspire grade skill after defeating an elite enemy or boss. This will give you a 30% movement speed boost, this will fade as soon as you are hit.

A -30% skill cooldown is unlocked when the boots are epic grade but this only applies during inspire. The final grade skill unlock is another HP boost of 15%, this is unlocked when the boots reach legendary grade.

And there you have it! That was our guide on the best boots in Survivor.io to date. It is worth stating that each pair of boots have its own individual strengths, we have just found the list above to be a reflection of when we have battled in the game for a long period of time.
