Arena 2 (Recruit) is unlocked when you reach 200 trophies in Rush Royale. By unlocking Arena 2 you gain access to a number of new cards and a hero.
Rogue, Hunter, Engineer, and Frost are the new cards that are unlocked when you reach Arena 2, you can obtain them in chests, events, and in battle. The Bestie hero is also unlocked at Arena 2.
Arena 2 is where you unlock one of the strongest cards in the game – Engineer. The Engineer card features in many of the strongest decks from this point on in the game. After testing and trialing a number of different decks we have found the following to be the most successful whilst completing Arena 2.
The best deck for Arena 2 (recruit)
The deck consists of the following cards:
- Engineer
- Cold Mage
- Priestess
- Lightning Mage
- Reaper
Gameplay tips
The focus of this deck is to outpower your opponent by using a combination of Engineers and Lightning mages. The support/debuff cards in this deck (Cold Mage and Priestess) should be placed tactically to slow your enemies and give you a mana boost when required.
The Reaper card is used in this deck for its ability to kill enemies instantly, this does not however apply to boss enemies but it is useful in-game.
Build as many Engineers together as possible to obtain the attack boost, this will be your primary focus early on to gain a lead over your enemy. If your opponent matches you in battle focus on leveling your support cards first before interrupting any Engineers that you have linked.

The beauty of Rush Royale is that there is a range of different unit cards available for you to choose from. This makes the possibilities endless and it means you are not confined to one deck variation. Arena 2 does however have unlimited options due to the meta and because most cards in the game are still locked.

The deck above is another strong choice for Arena 2, the reason why it hasn’t made the top of the list is due to the deck uses the Frost card which is legendary. Legendary cards can be difficult and sometimes expensive cards to obtain. They can be unlocked through chests and events that take place in-game.
This deck also should be played aggressively, you should fill your deck early on and try to build as many linked Engineers together as possible. The Priestess card rewards you with a mana boost when merged or destroyed. Merge this card when you need a mana boost to purchase other cards or level up any attacking cards you have.
The Frost card periodically performs an attack called Frostbite, this is where it slows enemies and deals damage to them over a period of time. This card should not be used as your main source of attack in-game but as a useful support card. The Reaper, Lightning Mage, and Engineer will provide you with enough firepower to defeat your enemy!
