Arena 3 (Cadet) is unlocked when you reach 400 trophies in Rush Royale. By unlocking Arena 3 you gain access to a number of new cards and a hero.
Bombardier, Banner, Sharpshooter, and Portal Keeper are the new cards that are unlocked when you reach Arena 3, you can obtain them in chests, events, and in battle. The Trickster hero is also unlocked at Arena 3.
Arena 3 is where you start to gain a few more cards and you will come up against players that know the game a little more. After testing and trialing a number of different decks we have found the following to be the most successful whilst completing Arena 3.
The best deck for Arena 3 (cadet)
The deck consists of the following cards:
- Engineer
- Cold Mage
- Priestess
- Bombardier
- Banner
Gameplay tips
The focus of this deck is to build as many Engineers as close together as possible. When Engineers are placed next to each other they receive an attack speed and damage increase. This will give you a strong advantage in the early stages of the game whilst you try to build up your deck.
The Priestess card will award you with additional mana if it is destroyed or merged, when you have built up a full deck of units this should be your first move as it will reward you with a nice mana boost. The Banner card is used to increase the attack speed of up to four neighboring units, this card is generally overlooked but can give you a massive boost when surrounded by Engineers, Cold Mages, or Bombardiers.
The Cold Mage should be used to slow your enemies for your attacking cards to destroy. We found that keeping 1 or 2 Cold Mages on the map was the best method.
Battles in Arena 3 do not tend to go the distance, if your opponent is matching your deck or even taking an early lead turn your focus to building as many strong Engineers together as possible, and only break the chain when merging when you are out of cards to upgrade to level 2.

The beauty of Rush Royale is that there is a range of different unit cards available for you to choose from. This makes the possibilities endless and it means you are not confined to one deck variation. Arena 3 does however have unlimited options due to the meta and because most cards in the game are still locked.

Gameplay tips
This deck is focused on providing you with a lot of firepower. The aim of this deck is to simply overpower your enemy in the early stages of the game so they cannot recover or counter. Like the deck above you should focus on trying to build a number of Engineers close together. You also have the Hunter and Lightning Mage cards to perform damage to enemies.
In the early stages of the game focus on filling up your deck with level 1 cards. You should not start merging your cards or leveling them up until you have a full deck. Start by merging your Priestess cards to get a nice boost in mana. You should use the additional mana to refill your deck and level up your weaker cards (Lightning Mage and Bombardiers).
If your opponent starts to match you, focus on building Engineers close together to gain the attacking boost. This paired with Hunters and merged Lightning Mages will be a deadly force. Leave 1 or 2 Bombardiers on the deck to stun your enemies, this also works on bosses and tank-style enemies.
