Featured image for our guide on the best Inquisitor decks in Rush Royale

In Rush Royale, the aim of the game is to overpower your opponent by building deck combinations that can lead you to victory. Like most games, Rush Royale offers a number of different cards that vary in grade from common to legendary that can be obtained and leveled up to create endless deck possibilities.

In this article, we are going to focus on the Inquisitor and some of the best decks for the card. We will look at a number of deck variations and give you some tips on how to play them.

We will start by taking a look at the card and how it works.

Inquisitor

The Inquisitor is a legendary card that is part of the Kingdom of Light faction in Rush Royale. The card is a damage-type unit that can deal a devastating amount of damage to enemy units and bosses. As the card is leveled up the amount of damage the card can deal is increased. In-game increasing the merge rank of the unit will improve its attack speed.

The card works in a unique way and increases the amount of damage it performs against a target with each attack. This is capped at a limit of 600% but this can be increased with certain talents. When you have 1, 4, 7, or 10 Inquisitors on the field they will activate an extra ability that increases attack speed and allows splash damage to be dealt.

Once talents are unlocked on this card it takes the card to the next tier, this is why you will find so many of the top players using this card in their PvP decks.

Best Inquisitor decks

There are a number of strong Inquisitor decks that you can choose from in Rush Royale. We have listed some of our favorites and strongest below:

Inquisitor Trapper Deck

Inquisitor Trapper Deck
  • Inquisitor
  • Scrapper
  • Dryad
  • Trapper
  • Enchanted Sword

Deck Tips

This was our favorite and most effective deck that we played with the Inqusitor card in Rush Royale. The deck features a number of different cards that complement and level up the Inquisitor.

In the early stages of the game, the focus should be on creating a highly-leveled Inquisitor unit. Use your Dryads first then your Scrapper units to level up your Inquisitor or Inquisitors (depending on what talent you have chosen).

The Trapper is a really effective card when paired with the Inquisitor as it can slow enemies and remove armor, making enemies and bosses much easier to defeat.

The Enchanted Sword should be used to boost the damage output of your Inquisitor units. If you have talents on your Enchanted Sword you should leave them alone, if not merge them when you are happy with your setup so effects are not removed from your units.

Inquisitor Knight Statue Deck

  • Scrapper
  • Inquisitor
  • Knight Statue
  • Trapper
  • Dryad

Deck Tips

In this deck, we see the Inquisitor paired with the Knight Statue. This Inquisitor deck variation would be better suited for the Knight of Light talent as it focuses on boosting attack speed for units.

In the early stages of the game try to build up 4 highly powered Inquisitor units, if this is not possible focus on getting one to a good level and then drop cards once you have enough mana to try to get to 4 Inquisitors.

The Scrapper can be used to remove cards that you do not want on the field such as excess Inquisitors and Knight Statues. You can also absorb an Inquisitor to remove any negative effects from the card from bosses and your opponent’s spells.

The Trapper is a useful card in this deck as it can remove the armor from monsters and also slow them in their tracks. If you do not have the Trapper then you could substitute it for the Cold Mage or Frost card.

Inquisitor Portal Keeper Deck

Inquisitor Portal Keeper Deck
  • Portal Keeper
  • Inquisitor
  • Enchanted Sword
  • Trapper
  • Dryad

Deck Tips

The Portal Keeper makes it into our list of the best Inquisitor decks as it can remove negative effects and protect you against bosses. Even if you have unlocked talents you may need protection from bosses and enemies that are hard to defeat. Use your Portal Keeper to move around your Inquisitor units when they have no shield/negative effects.

In the early stages of the game focus on building a number of Inquisitors on the field (no talents or Knight of Light) or a highly leveled unit (Knight of Darkness). Aim to get 10 blue effects on your units to maximize the amount of damage they can deal.

Your Dryad can be used to keep your Inquisitors and Portal Keeper units at the same level. This will come in handy if you need to remove any effects or protect them against tough or multiple bosses.

The purpose of the Trapper in this deck is to slow enemies as they pass. The Trapper will also destroy the enemy’s armor which makes it much easier for your Inquisitors to defeat them.

Inquisitor Dryad KS Deck

Inquisitor Dryad KS Deck
  • Dryad
  • Inquisitor
  • Scrapper
  • Knight Statue
  • Enchanted Sword

Deck Tips

This deck sees the Inquisitor unit matched with both the Knight Statue and Enchanted Sword. When played correctly this deck can both maximize the damage output and speed performed by your Inquisitor units.

Your aim in the first stages of the match should be to build either 4 Inquisitor units (Knight of Light) or 1 highly merged Inquisitor (Knight of Darkness). Position them next to a Knight Statue for maximum benefit. You can use your Dryads and Scrapper units to level up units.

Your Knight Statues will provide your Inquisitors with an attack speed boost which can be deadly. The attack speed increase does not stack from the Knight Statue so surrounding your units with multiple Knight Statues will have no effect.

The Enchanted Sword makes its way into this deck with its ability to increase the amount of damage your units can perform. Aiming to get 10 blue effects on your cards is the goal.
