Elementalist Hero Card

The Elementalist is a rare hero card in Rush Royale. The card is part of the rare group of hero cards so obtaining the card should not be that difficult, even in the earlier stages of the game.

The card has a number of unique abilities that can deal damage to enemies, and slow enemy units as they pass on the track. Like any other hero card in the game, the Elementalist hero has 4 abilities or modifiers that are unlocked as you level up the card.

The Elementalist hero can be used effectively with all deck variations in Rush Royale due to being an attack card. Learning how to use the card to its maximum potential can take time and a lot of practice. Once it has been mastered it can be really effective and worth taking the time to learn its strengths.

Talents and Abilities

The Elementalist hero in Rush Royale has 4 talents/abilities that can be unlocked.

Each talent can be unlocked as you reach certain level requirements:

  • Power of the Elements – Unlocked when you obtain the card
  • Icy Rain – Unlocked when the card reaches level 5
  • Double Trouble – Unlocked when the card reaches level 10
  • Energy Charge – Unlocked when the card reaches level 15

Each talent/ability can level up your gameplay and make your hero much more powerful. We will take a look at all of this card’s talents/abilities in more detail below:

Power of the Elements

Power of the Elements Skill

The first ability that is unlocked on the Elementalist hero is the Power of the Elements skill. This costs 800 morale and can deal damage to enemies in the form of a meteor attack or by summoning a storm.

An odd number of activations will summon a meteor shower which will incinerate all enemies on the track and form craters that block their path. An even number of activations will summon a storm that reduces armor, deals periodic damage to enemies in the amount of 3% of their current health, and briefly stuns them.

Damage is increased for these skills each time the card is leveled up.

Icy Rain

The next ability that is unlocked when your hero reached level 5 is Icy Rain.

Icy Rain will cause all of the monsters affected by the storm attack to slow down for a short period of time.

The amount of speed that the enemy is slowed by is increased each time you level up the hero card.

Double Trouble

The third talent modifier that is unlocked when the Elementalist hero reaches level 10 is the Double Trouble talent.

This will cause nearby enemies to be stunned when a crater disappears.

Energy Charge

The final skill that is unlocked at hero level 15 is the Energy Charge skill.

The Energy Charge skill will give three of your units a damage bonus for 15 seconds during a storm attack.

At this point, the Elementalist hero reaches its full potential and in turn, becomes very powerful.

Scroll of Elements

The Scroll of Elements is a legendary item that can be equipped with the Elementalist hero card to improve the ability of the card and increase the amount of damage caused by the attacks.

The Scroll of Elements increases the Power of the Elements skill by a %, increases the amount of damage caused by Energy Charge, and increases Stun caused by Double Trouble by 50%. Some of these values will increase as the card is leveled up.

Once unlocked, you can equip this item to your hero the normal way you would equip a weapon, amulet, or piece of armor.

Pros and cons of the card

The Elementalist hero card in Rush Royale has both pros and cons when compared to other Hero cards that you can use in-game. We have compiled a list of all of the pros and cons of using this card in Rush Royale below:

Pros

  • Meteor attack is really useful against monsters and bosses early in the game.
  • Can completely wipe out enemies on the path in the early stages of the game.
  • Storm attack slows enemies as they pass.
  • Can be used effectively with all decks in the game.
  • Relatively easy to unlock/level up.

Cons

  • In the later stages of the game, the attack becomes weak against stronger enemies.
  • Takes up until level 15 for the card to become a game-changer.

Overall the Elementalist hero is a great choice for most players in Rush Royale. The card can get you out of tricky situations in the early stages of the game if you are unable to get an attack-minded deck down. The Elementalist is also suitable to use with all decks in Rush Royale and is effective in both PvP and Co-Op modes of the game.

Gameplay experience

The Elementalist can perform a meteor attack

We tested the Elementalist hero card in a range of different deck variations in both the PvP and Co-Op modes of the game. The card came out as one of the most effective hero cards, especially in the early stages of the game. The two attack variations also made the card fun to play with as it mixed up the different attacks/effects performed on enemies.

One of the key advantages of using this card against other hero cards such as the Bestie and Trickster is the attacks performed by the Elementalist. If you are unlucky in the early stages of the game and find yourself spawning defensive and support-minded cards the Elementalist can get you out of trouble. There were a number of times in battle when the meteor attack would completely wipe out the field of enemies in the early stages.

When the card reaches the later levels you really notice the attack boost and damage increase. This makes the card a great option and is the reason why you will still see the card being used by players at the top of the ladder.

The only downfall or slight concern with this card is later on in the game against powerful bosses and hoards. You will find that the attacks performed by the Elementalist are less effective and will only do a small amount of damage. The stun/slow effects caused by the storm attack will however help you later on in the game.

Overall we really liked the Elementalist hero card and would recommend anyone to try the card out. The fact it is relatively easy to upgrade, use, and the fact it fits all deck types make it a great choice for players in Rush Royale.
