Rush Royale | Best Non-Legendary Decks

Featured image for our guide on the best non-legendary unit decks in Rush Royale

In Rush Royale, the aim of the game is to overpower your opponent by building deck combinations that can lead you to victory. Like most games, Rush Royale offers a number of different cards that vary in grade from common to legendary that can be obtained and leveled up to create endless deck possibilities.

In this article, we are going to focus on decks that do not contain legendary units. Legendary units can be difficult to obtain in the early stages of the game and are much more expensive to level up and unlock talents.

Whilst these decks may not match up against most meta decks higher up the ladder, they will keep you competitive in the lower PvP arenas and in Co-Op dungeons.

We would recommend unlocking talents on the cards that can. Talents will enhance cards and give them unique abilities that will assist in battle.

Best Non-Legendary decks

We have tried and tested a number of different decks in both PvP and Co-Op modes of the game that do not contain legendary units. After playing countless hours with a number of decks the ones featured on this list were the stand-out performers.

These decks are targeted at free-to-play players and also players that would like to try out some fun decks in the game.

Deck Tips

The first deck on our list features the Thunderer which is one of the most powerful non-legendary attack units in the game. The card hits extra targets with chain lighting for each merge rank which makes it effective.

In the first stages of a match, you should try and fill all the tiles of your deck. If you have any talent unlocked on the cards they will assist you against more powerful decks.

The Thunderer is your main point of attack in this deck. Aim to position highly merged Thunderers next to your Grindstone units. This will give them an attack boost that can help take down enemies.

Your Alchemist card can be useful in the early stages of the game with its acid puddle attack.

Use your Mime cards to merge any unwanted cards on the deck or to build any modifiers. Your Priestess units are used to give you extra mana in battle.

Deck Tips

This deck features a mana-focused lineup with the Vampire and Zealot units. This deck is fun to play with and can be deadly in the later stages of a game.

In the early stages of the game, your aim should be to level up your Vampire units once you have more than two on the field. This will provide you with a constant mana supply as you try to build your deck.

The Plague Doctor is one of the best non-legendary crowd control units in the game. Try to keep at least one highly merged Plague Doctor on the field to deal with weaker enemies.

Your Zealot is your most powerful card once you reach the later stages of the game. This is when you will need to generate mana to increase its power. You can use the Trickster hero to increase the amount of mana you generate.

The Bombardier and Chemist units are your support cards. The Chemist destroys the enemy’s armor which will help you when facing hoards of armored monsters. The Bombardier unit can stun enemies and hold them in place which will give your units more time to defeat them.

In the first stages of the game, you should aim to fill all tiles with a unit card. This will help you first the first couple of waves and should be enough to defeat the first couple of bosses.

The Ivy, Earth Elemental, and Alchemist cards will be your main point of attack. Try to get a mixture of each card at a high level on the field at once. If you have unlocked talents on the Alchemist this will help you out.

The Bombardier and Ice Mage units will be your debuff units that will be able to slow and stun enemies as they pass. This is helpful in both the PvP and Co-Op modes of the game.

Deck Tips

In this deck, we utilize a number of cards that are unlocked in the early stages of the game. Talents can be unlocked for a number of cards which will massively help you out as you reach the higher Arenas.

In the first stages of the game, try to fill all tiles before merging any units. As the first hoards of monsters and bosses are fairly weak you should be able to get through with no problems.

As you progress through the match or dungeon your aim should be to build up a number of Engineers that are connected to each other. The Engineer will be your main point of attack which is much more effective once talents have been unlocked for the card.

The Priestess is used to gain you extra mana in battle, unlocked talents for this card if you have unlocked them to improve the unit. Use the Mime units to merge any Priestess or unwanted units.

The Bombardier and Chemist units are used as your support/debuff cards. Keeping a couple of highly leveled units on the field at once is the most effective way to use them in this deck.
