In Rush Royale, the aim of the game is to overpower your opponent by building deck combinations that can lead you to victory. Like most games, Rush Royale offers a number of different cards that vary in grade from common to legendary that can be obtained and leveled up to create endless deck possibilities.
In this article, we are going to focus on the Reaper unit and some of the best decks for the card. We will look at a number of deck variations and give you some tips on how to play them.
The Reaper is an epic card that is part of the Dark Domain faction in Rush Royale. The card is a damaged-orientated unit that has the chance to instantly kill monsters as they pass. As you level up the card and upgrade in-game the chance to instantly kill monsters is increased. Talents can greatly improve this card when they are unlocked as you reach the higher levels.
The Reaper unit also performs a good amount of damage to monsters as they pass. In the lower arenas and in the early stages of the game this damage will be enough to take on most monsters.
The chance to instantly kill monsters does not apply to bosses.
Best Reaper decks
There are a number of strong Reaper decks that you can choose from in Rush Royale. We have listed some of our favorites and strongest below:
Reaper Monk Deck
- Portal Keeper
- Dryad
- Reaper
- Monk
- Scrapper
Deck Tips
The Reaper and Monk can be an effective combo in-game as you combine the attack speed of the Monk and the chance to instantly kill monsters with the Reaper.
In the early stages of the game, you try to fill your deck with cards and position your Monk units so you receive an attack speed or damage boost. If you can, save your Monk mana attack for the first boss.
The Monk unit in this deck is your main source of damage. Use the Dryad and Scrapper units to level up the Monk units in-game. Try to build horizontal and vertical lines of Monks as quickly as possible.
The Portal Keeper is used in this deck to re-position your Monk units and also to remove any negative effects from cards.
Aim to use a couple of highly-merged Reaper units on the battlefield. They will be highly effective against normal monsters as they instantly wipe them out.
Reaper Cold Mage Deck
- Bombardier
- Crystalmancer
- Reaper
- Vampire
- Cold Mage
Deck Tips
This deck is perfect for free-to-play players or those who do not have any legendary units yet. Most of these cards are unlocked early on in the game through the arena ladder and chests.
Your main source of damage in this deck is the Crystalmancer. Try to level up a number of Crystalmancers in the early stages of the match to counter your opponent’s attack. Pairing your Reaper with some highly merged Crystalmancers can be a deadly combo.
The Bombardier and Cold Mage units are used in this deck to stun/slow monsters on the path. Aim to have 2 highly merged units of each at once on the battlefield. This will increase their attack speed and slow monsters.
The Vampire is used in this deck to collect additional mana. Increase the mana level of your Vampire when you have a minimum of 3 placed down on your deck.
Reaper Bombardier Deck
- Bombardier
- Crystalmancer
- Reaper
- Vampire
- Frost
Deck Tips
This deck should be played in an aggressive mana as it sees the fast-attacking Crystalmancer paired with the Reaper unit and a number of support cards.
Your Crystalmancer is the main attacking threat in the deck. Aim to level up a number of Crystalmancer to higher levels and increase their mana level to improve their attack.
If you have more than 3 Vampire units on the field it is time to increase their mana level. This will start generating mana at a faster rate which will help you get more cards on the field.
The Bombardier and Frost units are used in this deck to stun/slow enemies as they pass. Increasing their merge rank will improve their attack rating and stun/slow more enemies at a faster rate.
Pair your Reaper with your Crystalmancer units. Aim to have a maximum of 2 highly-merged Reapers on the field at once to try and instantly wipe out enemies.
