Survivor.io is a fast-paced, strategy survival game where the aim is to defeat hoards of enemies and bosses whilst trying to stay alive. In-game you will obtain weapons and skills that can help you to do this. You can also select between a number of different characters that have unique skills and modifiers that will assist you in battle.

How to get catnips in survivor.io
Catnips can be unlocked via a few methods that we will mention below. Some of these methods will take longer than others but offer players of all styles to obtain them. Catnips was first introduced into the game in the 2022 Annual Christmas Carnival where they could be unlocked by completing challenges. There are still a number of ways to unlock this character in-game today.
Catnip is a character in Survivor.io that focuses on healing in-game. Catnips can summon a Medi-drone in-game which releases a healing zone for your player.
1. Limited-timed events
To unlock Catnips you would have had to take part in the 2022 Annual Christmas Carnival event and have collected enough Santa hats to claim Catnips. The annual event runs from the 22nd of December until the 29th of December. If the event has already passed, you will need to wait for future events where you can unlock Catnips.
Some limited-timed events in Survivor.io can reward you with survivor shards as prizes. If you are lucky enough you will be able to collect enough survivor shards (x 50) to unlock Catnips. There may be future events that will have Catnips as a reward for taking part.
2. Special op survivor shards
Taking part in the special ops game mode will generate special ops coins. These special ops coins can be exchanged for random survivor shards in the special ops menu. If you are lucky enough you can keep exchanging your survivor shards to unlock Catnips.
You will need x 50 Catnips shards to unlock the character which can take some time. Playing special ops and limited-timed events is the best way to collect these shards.
3. Gems
Another way you can unlock Catnips in Survivor.io is by spending x6000 gems. This is probably the most costly method but can be achieved by saving gems that you collect through playing the game.
