The card has a number of unique abilities that can level up how you collect mana in-game. Like any other hero card in the game, the Trickster hero has 4 abilities or modifiers that are unlocked as you level up the card.

The Trickster hero is one of the most commonly used heroes in the game as it can be used with any deck in Rush Royale.

Talents and Abilities

The Trickster hero in Rush Royale has 4 talents/abilities that can be unlocked.

Each talent can be unlocked as you reach certain level requirements:

  • Magic Theft – Unlocked when you obtain the card
  • Costly Prank – Unlocked when the card reaches level 5
  • Mutual Benefit – Unlocked when the card reaches level 10
  • Secret Technique – Unlocked when the card reaches level 15

Each talent/ability can level up your gameplay and make your hero much more powerful. We will take a look at all of this card’s talents/abilities in more detail below:

The first ability that is unlocked on the Trickster hero is the Magic Theft skill. This costs 800 morale and will steal part of the mana by the other player from all sources in PvP mode. In Co-Op mode activating the Magic Theft skill will copy all mana received for a set period of time.

The Magic Theft ability is active for a set period of time, this can be increased as you level the card up to higher levels.

Costly Prank

The next ability that is unlocked when your hero reached level 5 is Costly Prank.

Costly Prank throws a flask after each 1000 mana has been generated in-game. The flask will explode on the field and deal damage to enemies as they pass through it.

If a monster has been splashed they will give you more mana when they die. This is increased along with the amount of damage dealt as you level up the card.

Mutual Benefit

The third talent modifier that is unlocked when the Trickster hero reaches level 10 is the Mutual Benefit talent.

Unlocking this ability gives you the chance to give back all of the mana used to summon a unit. This can be extremely useful in the later stages of the game when units will cost you more mana.

Secret Technique

The final skill that is unlocked at hero level 15 is the Secret Technique skill.

The Secret Technique skill gives you mana when activated, and also increased unit damage for each 100 mana that you have in reserve. The amount of damage increase is capped at 40% and will not exceed this amount.

Once your hero has reached this point they will become extremely powerful and effective in battle.

Mana Power-up Flask

The Mana Power-up Flask is a legendary item that can be equipped with the Trickster hero card to improve the ability of the card to gather mana and increase the duration of effects.

The Mana Power-up Flask increases the duration of the Magic Theft skill, increase the amount of damage that can be produced from the Secret Technique skill, and gives you extra mana when Costly Prank is activated.

Once unlocked, you can equip this item to your hero the normal way you would equip a weapon, amulet, or piece of armor.

Gameplay experience

A green arrow is placed next to your mana balance when a skill is activated.

We used the Trickster hero card in a number of different decks in both PvP and Co-Op modes of Rush Royale, the outcome was positive as it was able to greatly boost our mana production. All deck variations we used benefited from the Trickster hero, this makes it an ideal hero to use with any deck in any arena.

The ability to gain additional mana in the early stages of a game makes filling your tiles much easier and faster. It also gives you the chance to increase the mana level of cards at a faster rate.

The only time we found it to be not as effective was when you matched with another player in PvP who had the Trickster equipped. We found that the Trickster canceled each other out when trying to gain mana as most players would activate at the same time.

As the card reaches higher levels it becomes more and more effective and the amount of mana you can save/generate is greatly increased.
